Epstein Files Live Updates: US Justice Department has released new files related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and one of the emails released in the documents show US President Donald Trump’s name as a passenger listed on Epstein’s private jet on eight flights between 1993 and 1996. The new set of files released on Sunday by the department has about 29,000 pages which includes court records, videos and emails.

Epstein Files released earlier: The latest files released by the Justice Department comes after Trump administration published a large trove of documents related to Epstein’s investigation in an attempt to comply with a new law overwhelmingly passed by the US Congress last month which mandates the Justice Department to release all the files related to Epstein.

Epstein Files in batches: The department earlier released Epstein files on Friday and Saturday which were heavily redacted but included never seen before images of former President Bill Clinton with Epstein and a 1996 criminal complaint against the late sex offender.

A new set of pages related to Jeffrey Epstein's investigation was uploaded by the Justice Department on its website which spans through nearly 30,000 pages and include photos, videos and court records.

The latest documents released contain:

Subpoena to Mar-a-Lago: The documents reveal that prosecutors sought employment records from President Donald Trump's club in 2021 during the Ghislaine Maxwell's investigation.

Flight Records: An email sent by an assistant US attorney of Southern District of New York stated that Trump was listed as a passenger on Epstein's private jet for at least eight times for a period between 1993 and 1996. One of the trips included Trump, Epstein and a 20-year-old woman as the only passengers.

Unverified Tips: Some leads were gathered by the FBI that Trump attended parties with Epstein, however, the files do not suggest any follow-up or corroboration on the said leads, The Washington Post reported.

The email released as part of the Epstein files by the US Justice Department on Sunday night reveal that one of the flights listed US President Donald Trump, deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and a 20-year-old as the only three passengers. The name of the 20-year-old has been redacted by the department.

"On one flight in 1993, he and Epstein are the only two listed passengers; on another, the only three passengers are Epstein, Trump, and then-20-year-old," the email states which has been authored by an assistant US attorney, Southern District of New York.

Epstein Files Live Updates: Justice Department defends US president, says some files 'contain untrue and sensationalist claims' against Trump

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has said that nearly 30,000 pages have been released relating to Jeffrey Epstein and cautioned regarding some of the pages referencing President Donald Trump without mentioning which ones.

"Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election," the Justice Department said in a post on X.

The department further wrote, "To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already."

Epstein Files Live Updates: Flight records show Donald Trump 'travelled on at least 8 Epstein flights'

The latest documents released by the US Justice Department has revealed an email sent by an assistant US attorney from the Southern District of New York on January 8, 2020 which states that Donald Trump “traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware)."

The email further shows that Trump was named as a passenger on "at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including at least four flights on which (Ghislaine) Maxwell was also present."

The name of the sender and recipient of the email has been redacted by the US Justice Department.
