An explosion in a cafe in the Spanish capital Madrid on Saturday injured at least 25 people, with two of them receiving serious injuries, emergency services in Madrid said, Associated Press reported. The emergency services added that two of the injured were in a “serious condition” while three others in a "potentially serious" condition. Local media reported the blast took place due to a gas leak and it occurred at the "Mis Tesoros" cafe at around 3 pm (local time) in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid, DW reported. Firefighter chief Javier Romero said emergency responders pulled four people from the rubble after the explosion occurred at around 3 pm (local time) on the ground floor of the three-story building, AP reported.
