The video of a critically malnourished dog being taken in by Animal Aid Unlimited, an Indian animal rescue centre, is sure to pull at your heatrstrings. Having garnered over 4 million views in just a week, the video shows how an emaciated dog left to die — his skin pale and scarred — was painstakingly nursed back to health by these rescue workers. Such was the state of affairs that the canine would not even respond to human touch.
Following the work over two months, it’s hard not to shed a tear of joy when the dog happily accepts treats and plays with fellow dogs at the shelter. This is one video you’d want to watch till the end.
