The post accumulated more than 300 reactions on the platform, with users sharing similar incidents. Reacting to it, a user commented, “They really need to label the cloud kitchens or provide a filter. It gets difficult to figure out about the quality of an establishment since most cloud kitchens aren’t listed on Google Maps.” Another user shared, “I’ve found cockraoches multiple times, in the soup ordered from a cloud kitchen, in the biryani ordered from the famous Nandini restaurant. All i know is very few of them follow proper hygiene & the sensible thing is to avoid having outside food.”

“Few days back someone got Centipede in the Freshmenu meal, now this..!!!” the third user reacted.

Last month, a Zomato customer found a cockroach in her order from a Gurugram-based restaurant. She shared a photo of the food and wrote, “Just had a horrific experience ordering from @Zomato. Ordered Japanese miso ramen chicken from Auntie Fug’s and found a cockroach in my meal! Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting Seriously disappointed with the quality control here. @Zomato is beyond gross.#ZomatoNightmare.”

In December last year, a Zomato customer spotted a dead cockroach in her chicken fried rice bowl she ordered from a restaurant in Bengaluru.
