On May 17, Delhi resident Gajendra Yadav ordered 10 kg of wheat flour from Zepto, however, his experience turned sour after he received a nearly expired packet. Tagging the e-commerce brand on X, Yadav shared his ordeal, informing the expiry date was after eight days.
“@ZeptoNow ordered 10kg wheat from Zepto. Expiry date is after 8 days. 8 din mai 10kg kaise khatam hoga @ZeptoNow bhai?? Idhar ajao…mil ke khatam karte hai,” Yadav wrote. He also attached a photo of the wheat flour packet along with the post.

Soon after the post went viral, Zepto responded by saying, “Hi, We regret this unpleasant experience. Could you please DM us your registered contact details or order ID? Our team will shortly get in touch with you.”
On Monday, Yadav shared an update on his issue with his Zepto order. He shared that the customer care representative asked him to eat the 10 kg wheat flour in seven days, triggering hilarious reactions on the platform.
“Received call from @zeptocares and lady said NOTHING CAN BE DONE HERE…..EAT 10KG of WHEAT IN 7 DAYS. Unprofessional behavior. Dear @aadit_palicha @v0hra you need to add some training sessions of common sense and logic for your customer service. Atleast show expiry date on your app if you are running your business by selling NEAR EXPIRY products. @chiragbarjatyaa,” he wrote.

“Dear @aadit_palicha @v0hra Please share address of your office. Will send 7KG…..don’t wanna waste it,” he added. In another post, Yadav informed that he got Zepto’s office address and is sending 3 kg of wheat flour to their office.

The post reached over 2,90,000 views and amassed hilarious reactions. “@zeptocares if u asking my client to eats 10kg flour in 7 days pay for his yearly enrolment package as well,” a user wrote. “Dost, raw sugar mix kar ke thoda thoda roz ants ko khila de..kisi k toh kaam aa jayega (Bro! mix raw sugar to it and feed it to ants),” another user commented.
