Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal turned 35 on July 23 with the “craziest” birthday celebration of his life. Chahal received a surprise flash mob that took place in London and featured his rumoured girlfriend, RJ Mahvash. The two were seen hugging as a group of dancers performed.

Sharing the video, Chahal wrote, “Hum ladko ki kabhi kabhi puri life bhi nikal jati hai bina birthday celebrate kare.” [Sometimes, we boys go through our entire lives without ever celebrating a birthday.] “This is my first birthday surprise in 3 decades and probably the craziest! And the world was spinning when all of this was happening! Numb. Grateful. Overwhelmed. Hope we all get friends who make such efforts to make us smile. Meanwhile, I am still trying to digest this fact that this HAPPENED IN REAL.”

The video quickly gained traction with several fans and celebrities wishing Chahal on his birthday. “Gosh, Yuzi my bro… God bless you meri jaan.. This is beautiful.. Good things happen to good people,” actor Ashish Chowdhry wrote. “Mere baby bro so happy for you. I really wants to say thanks to your all friends who gave this surprise nd brought smile on your face. Jai mata Di,” Chahal’s sister Geet Chahal commented.

Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash, rumoured to be dating, continue to make headlines with their public appearances together. Speculation about their relationship escalated after Chahal’s divorce from actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma was finalised. Since then, the cricketer and the radio jockey have often been spotted together and are regular fixtures on each other’s social media platforms.

Both Mahvash and Chahal recently shared a series of pictures from the streets of London. Though they didn’t pose together, the matching locations in their photos sparked a flurry of comments from observant followers.
