Even though the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has time and again raised awareness on Twitter and urged people not to film Instagram reels or dance inside Delhi Metro trains, there have been many videos of commuters still flouting the rules. Especially, in the current scenario in which people have complained about obscenity and incidents of harassment on Metro trains, such videos don’t go down well with netizens.
A woman posted a video of herself dancing to a Punjabi song inside a Delhi Metro coach and it met with criticism. The woman danced to the song ‘Shape’ by Punjabi singer Kaka while wearing a face mask and posted the video to her account (itz__officialroy). The video seems to have been filmed inside a women’s coach as a few commuters moved around. While posting the video, she wrote that she knows it’s not allowed but she did it for the first time in Delhi Metro.

“Normal day in delhi metro…..Believe me delhi soon gonna be Ohio 2nd version,” commented a user. “Btw Delhi metro banned all these stuffs inside the metro,” posted another.
Recently, DMRC asked commuters not to shoot videos inside Delhi Metro trains with a popular meme template. “Metro mein travel karein trouble nahi (Travel in the metro, do not cause trouble),” it said in Hindi.
DMRC posted a meme showing different kinds of headaches and their causes. The meme template showed how migraine, hypertension, and stress affect different parts of the head. The last one showed a person suffering pain in their entire head and the reason behind it was given as, “When you see someone dancing in metro.”
