Authorities are investigating his sudden passing and awaiting toxicology results, but a friend shared that he “passed away peacefully in his sleep.” Jeremy Curry, a close friend, expressed his grief in a heart-felt Facebook post on December 5. Sharing a photo of the two of them smiling, Curry wrote, “This is the most devastating post I’ve posted… Please keep his family and fiance in your thoughts and prayers.” He also shared details about a memorial service scheduled for Saturday, December 14, at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
Singh’s fiancée confirmed the devastating news in a statement to People, revealing that the comedian had been dealing with health issues for some time. While the investigation continues, authorities suspect natural causes played a role in his untimely death.
The America’s Got Talent team shared their condolences on social media, calling him a “gifted performer who lit up the stage with his remarkable humour.” Their message read: “He brought joy and laughter to so many, and his incredible talent will be missed.”

Singh performed alongside comedy icons like Dave Chappelle, Jo Koy, and Russell Peters, and regularly toured with stars like Anjelah Johnson and Aries Spears.
In 2015, he embarked on a 14-city international tour, delivering seven sold-out performances in the United Kingdom and four in India. His TV credits included Gabriel Iglesias’ Stand-Up Revolution, Starz, and Fox. Singh’s final performance was on November 2, 2023, in Manteca, California.
