A video showing an ant crawling inside a laptop screen has gone viral, gaining over 500,000 views since it was shared on X by user @adityakvlte. In the video, Aditya shares his disbelief, showing the ant crawling within the laptop display while he slides his finger across the screen to prove it’s trapped inside. “This ant went inside my laptop’s screen!” he writes in the caption, describing the bizarre and unexpected situation.

The strange incident left many viewers puzzled about how the ant managed to enter the laptop‘s screen. X user Akash Manohar shared his own experience, saying, “I have experienced this. So please read this fully: Most likely it did not go into screen. This insect is most likely an egg that was in the screen during manufacturing. The heat generated during laptop use helped it hatch.” In a separate post, Manohar also directed users to the post of another user who faced the same issue in 2020.

Responding to Akash’s post, one X user said, “Free dynamic wallpaper,” while another wrote, “Bro, use Lakshman rekha on your screen—it’s great for ants.” Another user commented, “Apple already has built-in ant-virus.”
