An Indian businessman based in the UAE hosted his daughter’s wedding aboard a private jet. A video posted online by the PTI news agency shows the extravagant celebrations attended by 350 guests on board a Jetex Boeing 747 aircraft on November 24.

The video shows the wedding guests dancing to the song “Tune Maari Entriyaan” from the 2013 film Gunday. Businessman Dilip Popley hosted his daughter Vidhi Popley’s wedding to Hridesh Sainani on board the private jet, which embarked on a three-hour journey from Dubai to Oman.

The groom was quoted as saying in the video that he was happy to marry his “high school sweetheart” and thanked his father-in-law and father for the ceremony. “I am very, very happy to marry my childhood sweetheart, my high school sweetheart, up in the flight,” Hridesh Sainani said.

He also thanked Jetex, a private charter flight operator, for making the experience memorable.
The bride, Vidhi Popley, said, “I’m super excited. I could have never imagined. I wasn’t there for my parents’ wedding and they recreated something like this for us.”
