Balayage, Caramel, Auburn, Ombre, et al. While there’s no shortage of cool hair colour trends, a desi hairstylist opted to dig in colours from the Indian household. A video is crazy viral on the internet that shows, hairstylist Rahul Kalshetty dyeing his client’s hair with ‘Ujala’.

The video begins with Kalshetty clarifying that he decided to pull off the experiment on public demand. He then proceeds to apply the liquid fabric enhancer to the client’s hair. If you think the experiment turned out to be a disaster, then you must watch the video. “Ujala- just experimenting,” Shetty captioned the video.

The video is now viral and has caught the attention of not just regular social media users but also online story companies like Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart. Reacting to the video, Blinkit wrote, “So this is why we are getting so many Ujala orders.” Swiggy Instamart commented, “tujhse naraz nahi zindagi hairan hoon mai.”

Meanwhile, social media users, jokingly, demanded Shetty try out other unconventional methods to dye hair. One user wrote, “Perhaps deposit a mouthful of Zubaan Kesari.” Another user commented, “Harpic bhi daal hi de ab.”

“Fevicol daalke dekh bhai,” yet another user demanded.
