The Modi-Hollande hug at Rock Garden has Twitter chirping with a barrage of memes

If the past two years is anything to go by, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can easily be called a serial hugger. From US President Barack Obama to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Modi’s photos of hugging world leaders and influencers have been a source of much social media chatter.

So, it should not come as a surprise that a photograph of the Prime Minister hugging French President François Hollande at the Rock Garden in Chandigarh has elicited many reactions as well. While several have dubbed this as his best hug ever, there are others who have drawn parallels of Titanic proportions.
