To shoo the bull away, neighbours tried crackers, splashing water, sticks but nothing workedIn Faridabad’s Dabua Colony, a couple found themselves trapped in their own home after a stray cow and bull barged into their bedroom, forcing the wife to hide inside a cupboard for nearly two hours.
According to Republic, the incident took place on Wednesday morning when Rakesh Sahu and his wife, Sapna, were at home. Sapna was performing her morning prayers when a cow suddenly ran through their open gate and straight into the bedroom, with a bull following close behind. Before they could react, the bull climbed onto their bed as if it owned the place, while the cow remained in the room.
Panic set in as the animals refused to leave. While Sahu tried to figure out a way to get them out, Sapna, fearing the situation might escalate, hid inside a cupboard, hoping to avoid any confrontation with the unexpected visitors.
Hearing the commotion, neighbours gathered outside and tried everything to shoo the animals away—shouting, splashing water, using sticks, and even bursting firecrackers. But the cattle remained completely unfazed.
After nearly two hours of failed attempts, a neighbour came up with an unconventional idea—bringing in a pet dog. The dog’s aggressive barking finally startled the animals, who bolted out of the house, bringing an end to the chaos.
Once the situation was under control, Sapna emerged from the cupboard, shaken, and concerned neighbours took her to a doctor for a check-up.
