The sudden demise of the legendary writer and editor of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, left fans around the globe heartbroken. The 95-year-old, who brought some of the most popular loved superheroes of the 20th century to life, passed away in Los Angeles on Monday. The Mumbai Police also jumped in to pay tribute to Lee and tweeted with the hashtag #StanLeeForever.
Using a gif from Spider-Man 3, one of Stan Lee’s many cameo appearances in the Marvel films, the social media team of Mumbai Police tweeted a tribute to him. In the film, Lee says: “You know, I guess one person can make a difference.”

As a writer and editor, Stan Lee was key to the ascension of Marvel into a comic book titan in the 1960s. The Marvel boss won hearts with scores of special appearances on TV shows, web series and of course in every Marvel movie.
