Man interrupts Shreya Ghoshal concert in Kolkata to propose to girlfriend, singer says, ‘You have one chance’

A proposal at a concert can sometimes go awry, but for a Kolkata man, it was a moment of pure joy as his girlfriend said yes. The cherry on the cake: the proposal took place at Shreya Ghoshal’s concert in the city. The singer was performing on Saturday night when she noticed a man with a placard that read, “Shreya! You’re my second love.”

Intrigued by the placard, the singer paused her concert and asked, “Then who’s your first love?” The man then pointed to his girlfriend and said he wanted to propose to her that very moment. Further, the man introduced himself as Rishi and his girlfriend as Antara. “Propose karna toh achche se karna. You have one chance (If you want to propose, do it well),” Ghoshal says in the viral video. “You’re doing it publicly. Everyone is watching, thousands of people here,” she adds.

The man went down on a knee and proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes.
