OYO's founder bumps into Rana Daggubati

Running into one’s favourite stars is a dream come true. Something similar happened when the Shark Tank India judge and OYO’s founder, Ritesh Agarwal, bumped into Rana Daggubati at the airport. Sharing the ‘moment’, Agarwal revealed that the Telugu star closely follows the business reality show.

In the picture shared by Agarwal, the duo can be seen all smiles as they come together to take a selfie. The businessman wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “On my way to catch a flight I bumped into @RanaDaggubati at the airport recently. As we got conversing in Telugu he told me he ardently follows @SharkTankIndia. Not a lot of people know but he is an angel investor and has a wide interest in multiple domains in technology and actively has invested in many startups. Maybe he could be a shark someday”

The picture is now viral and has garnered more than a thousand reactions and 100K viewership. One user wrote, “All the best, He is Pakka businessman and good investor and above all very kind hearted too.” Another user wondered if it was a promotional gimmick, “How does one bump I to billion dollar Stuff, any collaboration in future.”

Ritesh Agarwal landed in soup in 2020 after he was booked for an alleged ‘fraud and criminal conspiracy’ by a Chandigarh-based businessman Vikash Gupta. However, OYO denied the allegations.

Meanwhile, Shark Tank India Season 3 kick-started on January 22 with Ritesh Agarwal, Peyush Bansal, Varun Dua, Radhika Gupta, Amit Jain, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Deepinder Goyal, Ronnie Screwvala, and Azhar Iqbal as judges.

The police said the trio from Chandigarh — Rohan (21), Sumit (22), and Mohit (19) — were dhol players by profession and had procured the weapons due to an old rivalry with local residents.
