Moved by the gesture, Carlos reciprocates by offering to pay for the man’s sugarcane juice as well. As they engage in small talk over their healthy beverages, Carlos learns that a large glass costs Rs 20 while a small glass is priced at Rs 10.

Apart from appreciating the taste of the drink that comes in mild sweetness, Carlos also praises the honesty of the vendor for not charging him an inflated price as he was a foreigner.

The video captured the hearts of viewers with its heartwarming exchange and appreciation for the authentic local experience. One user expressed, “The vendor was honest, unlike the one who came to rescue you by getting himself a free drink. It costs 20 rupees at most of the places. Hardworking Vendor.” Another user commented, “He said the right price. It cost 20 rupees.” While a third user said, “Help who you decide to and who deserves it.”
