Patiala ITI student who delivers Swiggy orders on bicycle inspires netizens

The man named Sourav Bhardwaj says though his goal is to become an IAS officer he is also preparing for other government exams.

A young man, who works as a delivery executive for Swiggy and also attends ITI during the day, has inspired netizens with his grit and determination.

An X user Hatinder Singh (@Hatindersinghr3) shared his video on Monday. The youngster named Sourav Bhardwaj was delivering an order on a bicycle and told the man recording the video that he has been working for Swiggy for four months. He said he cycles around 40 kms every day while delivering orders from 4 pm to 11 pm.

Bhardwaj said his father is a photographer, but it is a seasonal work and doesn’t pay much, while his mother is a teacher in a private school. He said he tries to support his family by buying groceries from his salary. Bhardwaj, who wears a turban, said he is a Hindu but was inspired by the Sikh faith. He said though his goal is to become an IAS officer he is also preparing for other government exams.
