A heartwarming video featuring former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni attending a friend’s birthday celebration has taken the internet by storm. In a series of clips shared on June 22, Dhoni stands quietly at the back while the crowd joyfully sings “Happy Birthday.” He blends in seamlessly, with the crowd smiling and joins in the singing.
When offered a slice of cake, Dhoni humorously gestures towards friend’s wife, saying, “Pehle Kaaki ko khilao, aapko ghar mein rehna hai. Hum toh chale jayengey.” (First feed Kaki. You have to live here, we’ll all be leaving soon), which prompted laughter from everyone present.
Later, when presented with a second piece of cake, Dhoni modestly declines, suggesting that the children should enjoy it first before he finally accepts a slice for himself. The emotional highlight of the gathering comes when Dhoni offers a piece to his friend, who is already teary eyed as he accepts the piece from Dhoni

MS Dhoni last played during the IPL 2025 season. He had a disappointing season both batting and fielding. Dhoni participated in 14 matches and scored a total of 196 runs, with an average of 24.50 and a strike rate of 135.17.
