‘You think it’s cool?’: Mrunal Thakur slams fan who photoshopped her in Diwali photo
Mrunal Thakur criticised the fan who edited a photo of her for Diwali.

Mrunal Thakur recently slammed a fan who posted an edited photo on Diwali with her. The viral photo shows the man lighting a firecracker with the actor beside him and his arm wrapped around her.
The Sita Ramam actor took to her Instagram stories and criticised the fan, who edited videos and photos with other actors for his Instagram posts. Reacting to the post, Thakur wrote, “Bhai kyu tassali de rahe hain aap apne aap ko? Aapko lagta hain ki aap yeh Jo kar rahe hain yeh cool hain? Ji nahi! (Why are you consoling yourself by doing this? You think it’s cool? No, it ain’t).”

Thakur deleted the comment. However, her reaction stirred up the attention on social media. A user wrote, “Hope such things people shouldn’t normalise. This is wrong, and some action should be taken as warning.” Another user commented, “this is no less than a crime..she is a famous celebrity so people believe its fake but what about an ordinary female?? this is going way beyond now.”
“You can’t control social media..the best thing could have ignored,” a third user said.
A section of social media users criticised Thakur for slamming the fan. Reacting to it, the actor said, “Guys, ap log bacche ki jaan logey kya? Maine woh comment kar dia. Pehle jab main dekha main khush hui… chal kisi aur ke saath na sahi inke saath hi main Diwali toh mana rahi hoon (Guys, please stop? I just commented… at first, when I saw the video I was happy that at least I am spending my Diwali with him)! Then, I opened his page and saw that he had edited his video with every actress! My heart was broken! I was so sad! But I love his editing skills and hope he uses his art for the right things! But please don’t say bad things to him. His intention was maybe not bad. I hope woh aur logon ka dil na tode (I hope he does not break more hearts)!”
