‘Men lives are sad’: man lifts 112-kg bike on shoulders to avoid waiting at railway crossing, video sparks debate

“A man went viral after lifting his 112 kg bike on his shoulders to cross a railway track instead of waiting at a closed crossing. The video shows him walking across with the bike while others waited. Some online users called him “Baahubali” while others criticised him for risking injury and breaking rules,” the caption read.

The clip quickly drew attention, sparking a debate over public safety. While a section of users found it amusing, others criticised the man for pulling off a reckless stunt. “that much hurry for the IAS officer he got no time to sign the files waiting at his desk,” a user wrote. “Men life are sad.. Doesn’t have time not sure he is rushing for drink party or late to achieve his financial goal,” another user commented.

“These uncivilized people should be punished. Their licence should be cancelled,” a third user reacted. “Proud of what we have become today… zero civic sense… going backwards day by day,” a fourth user said.

In March this year, another man lifted a bike on his shoulders and crossed the tracks, instead of waiting for the railway gates to open.
