Water supply to be disrupted in most parts of Pune city tomorrow due to emergency repair work

The water supply cut will impact localities around Sinhagad Road, Shivajinagar, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune-Satara road and Pune-Solapur road, among others.

Water supply will be cut off to most parts of Pune city on Thursday due to emergency repair and maintenance work to be undertaken at all pumping stations and purification plants in Parvati, Warje and Pune Cantonment. The supply will be restored on Friday and will likely have lower pressure than usual. “The repair and maintenance work includes electrical and civil work of the pipeline to be carried out on Thursday,” said Nandkishore Jagtap, chief engineer who is in charge of civic water works.
