Richa Chadha shares a hilarious cryptic video as counting of votes continues

Amid the buzz around the election results, actor Richa Chadha gave a hilarious twist to the counting trends and it has everything to do with Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The Heeramandi actor shared a clip of Kapoor’s iconic song Aayi Re Aayi Re Khushi wherein the latter can be seen dancing enthusiastically. Sharing the video on X, Chadha dropped three smileys. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, the song is from the 2003 film Khushi.

The post garnered over 11,30,00 views as several social media users reacted to it. A user wrote, “Celebrating on a loss is brilliant !!” Responding to the user, the actor wrote, “Google pyrrhic victory if you can read.”

“I am very happy today,” another user said. “Bholi Punjaban never misses,” a third user wrote. “Another ≈ 50% votes counting left,” a user reacted.

Richa Chadha has always been vocal about her political views. In January 2020, she and her kin stood in solidarity with the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). “It’s being said that the nationwide protests are organised by the Congress, but I really don’t think the Congress has the clout to mobilise the crowd the way we’re witnessing,” she had said.
