Indian entrepreneurs often speak about shaping their future through investment, disciplined routines, and building wealth strategically. But an Indian businessman has offered a different perspective, one that focuses on thought, mindset, and the power of human consciousness to change one’s destiny.

Indian billionaire Niranjan Hiranandani has recently appeared on spiritual mentor Jai Madaan’s podcast, where she asked him about the role destiny has played in his success and how he views it. Hiranandani responded, “Kismat ka role toh humesha rahega” (Destiny will always have a role), “but according to my experience, kismat hum banate hain humare soch se, humare vichaar se” (but in my experience, we create our destiny through our thoughts and mindset).

He then illustrated his point with an example comparing two people, one born wealthy and one who is not, and said, their thinking makes them progress forward. He added that people who think like this move ahead of even the wealthy and the highly intelligent.

In his post in Hindi, Hiranandani continued, “A person may have wealth, power, or destiny, but the other thing is thought. When a stream of thought enters your mind, you can change your own future and create your destiny”.

He further mentioned that people think destiny is fixed, but it is not. “God has made humans different. Animals do not have the same consciousness or intellect. Because of this difference, humans have the capability to shape their own destiny,” he said.
