The video of the incident, which occurred at a wholesale cracker shop named Paras Fireworks, is now doing rounds on the internet.
In the now-viral video, fireworks explode inside a shop as terrified customers flee in panic. As the explosions begin, many rush for the exits, while some remain trapped in the flames. Towards the end of the video, thick smoke billows from the shop, creating a dramatic and alarming scene.

Several flocked to the comment section and reacted to the terrifying scene. “Feeling bad for the shopkeeper. He lost his stock and damage is extra,” a user wrote. “Huge respect to all those helping people out of this,” another user commented.
“It’s really scary thinking about the worker and other people,” a third user reacted.
According to the Times of India, four fire tenders rushed to the location. However, the situation became challenging as the crackers kept bursting. While the cause of the fire is still unknown, the incident is being investigated. The police confirmed that the shop was being illegally run without a licence, a report in India Today stated.
“The shop has no certificate. It was an illegal shop. We will take strict action against them,” India Today quoted K Shankar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sultan Bazar.
According to The Hindu, no casualties were reported and the fire was brought down by 10. oo pm.
