A content creator who made a video of herself dancing at the Andheri railway station in Mumbai has now apologised for causing inconvenience to passengers. A new video shows her apologising for her actions while being flanked by two police personnel.

Seema Kanojiya, who has more than 5.59 lakh followers on Instagram, posted the dance video on December 2 and it has amassed more than 94.5 million views. In the video, she is seen getting down from a halted train and colliding with two men who were walking on the platform. The men appeared clueless as she started dancing on the platform and many other passengers gathered around her.

Now, standing next to a policeman and a policewoman, she apologised for her actions. She requested YouTubers and other content creators to not create such videos. “Don’t make video or reels at railway platforms and inside trains. Passengers face problems and it’s offence. I’m sorry to make reels at railway platform at Andheri and CSMT,” she wrote.

It has become common for content creators to grab eyeballs online by dancing on public transport. In November, one such online video of a woman dancing on a jampacked local train did not go down well with netizens.

Saheli Rudra, from Kolkata, posted the video on her Instagram account (@_sahelirudra_). Wearing a white shirt and torn jeans, she was seen dancing to the Bhojpuri song “Saj Ke Sawar Ke” by Khesari Lal Yadav and Priyanka Singh. While most passengers ignored her performance, a few others recorded it on their mobiles.
