The security personnel even pulls off the fan’s T-shirt in their fight during Entertainers Cricket League finalCricket fever is in full swing, with leagues happening left, right and centre––from former stars competing in the International Masters League (IML) to internet personalities showcasing their skills in the Entertainers Cricket League (ECL).
At the ECL 2025 final held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi on March 16, however, it wasn’t the game that stole the spotlight—it was an unexpected brawl in the stands.
A viral video circulating on social media shows a shocking fistfight between a security guard and a fan. The reason behind the scuffle remains unclear, but the footage captures the two throwing punches at each other. At one point, the security personnel even pulls off the fan’s T-shirt—whether intentional or not is up for debate.
Rather than breaking up the fight, most spectators whipped out their phones to record the incident, while a few hurled expletives in the background. Eventually, an unidentified man stepped in, pulling the security guard away, putting an end to the altercation.
The X account Ghar ke kalesh shared the video with the caption, “Kalesh b/w a Security Guy and a Fan during ECL Final Match.”

With over three lakh views, the clip has sparked a mix of reactions online. One user said, “Forget the cricket match, the real action was ringside!” Another commented, “This kalesh is probably the best part of the ECL Final match rather than watching old guys play cricket!”
Others, however, took a more serious stance. “Seeing the fight between these two, it seems that if there was no wall between them, things would have escalated further. Every spectator should respect the security personnel so that law and order is maintained in the stadium,” wrote one commenter.
Meanwhile, another user said, “The audience paid for cricket but got a bonus WWE episode for free.”
