As the counting of the Lok Sabha 2024 elections continues, social media got swamped with hilarious memes on Tuesday. From Prime Series Panchayat to Dhruv Rathee to Arvind Kejriwal, users left no stone unturned to entertain themselves while waiting for the final poll results.

According to the latest updates by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is currently leading with 299 seats, while the INDIA alliance, led by the Congress, trails with 224 seats. Meanwhile, regional parties are making a strong comeback, with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) leading in 32 seats in West Bengal.

BJP is trailing in Uttar Pradesh as the Samajwadi Party is now leading on 33 seats and Congress leading on eight. In Bihar, the JDU has come out as the strongest party leading in 15 seats, followed by the BJP’s 11-seat lead.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
