WATCH: Dogs fearlessly chase away leopard trying to enter Nainital home

The CCTV footage captured a group of pet dogs driving away a leopard that attempted to sneak into the house.

A CCTV video from Nainital has captured the moment a leopard fled from a house after being attacked by three pet dogs. The footage of the incident was shared by @Nishantjournali on X on July 31.

The footage begins with one of the dogs lounging near the gate of the house. It looks like the dog spots the leopard suddenly and is alarmed. The dog tries to attack the leopard alone but almost misses. The leopard can be seen pouncing forward to attack the dog.

The X user wrote, “The king of the jungle ran away to save his life from the dogs. Look..”

Soon, two more dogs join the first and confront the big cat aggressively, forcing it to retreat and run away. However, the leopard returns once more, but eventually gets defeated and runs out the gate.

Amidst all the chaos, the CCTV footage also gives us a glimpse of one of the residents coming out of the house and checking if the leopard has fled.

In June, a similar incident had taken place in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra when a leopard had sneaked in front of a house in Rahuri taluka area but a dog chased it away seconds later. The CCTV footage of this moment was shared by ANI and had gone viral then.
