A video of a Delhi-Srinagar IndiGo flight hit by severe turbulence is doing rounds on the internet. Bad weather triggered the turbulence on Monday, leaving passengers panicking on board.
The now-viral video was shared by an X user and has left netizens in fright.
Sharing the video, the user wrote, “An Indigo flight from Delhi to Srinagar was hit by severe turbulence due to bad weather. A narrow escape. Avoid traveling in bad weather.”

The video has accumulated reactions from X users, who also shared their horrifying flight experiences. A user wrote, “In 2021, I was traveling back from Bengaluru to Kashmir and saw the worst turbulence. The airoplane just made a jump and everyone got panicked after that the continuous vibrations made the plane dance in clouds and that rain . Now I fear travling (traveling) by air.”
Another user wrote, “Seeing such incidents, i too fear now.” “Such incidents were terribly scary, about 40 years ago, when only one or two flights a day would operate on this stretch,” the third user shared.

On Sunday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a three-day snowfall alert for Jammu and Kashmir. It also predicted snowfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad until February 22.
