Delhi-NCR Storm News: Delhi-NCR experienced a heavy rain and hailstorm on Wednesday evening, offering much-needed relief from the intense summer heat. The capital was hit by a dust storm accompanied by strong winds, estimated at 50–60 km/h with gusts reaching up to 70 km/h, followed by intense rainfall and hail. According to weather officials, the storm was triggered by a cyclonic circulation over the neighbouring state of Haryana.

While the sudden weather shift provided relief from the heat, it also caused significant disruption across Delhi and the NCR. One of the most notable incidents was the collapse of the “welcome board” at the Delhi-Noida border, which led to traffic snarls and inconvenience for commuters.
