A routine ride turned into a frightening encounter for a young biker in Patna after a group of police personnel stopped him, shouted at him, slapped him, and allegedly threatened him, an ordeal he unintentionally captured on his action camera. What began as just another day on the road quickly spiralled into an incident that exploded online once the footage surfaced.

The complete picture became clear only after several videos were shared by the biker, Ishu, and his friend. Their clips show the moment he was flagged down at a checkpoint, the heated exchange that followed, and even a phone call where someone, claiming to be from the police, allegedly ordered him to erase everything he had recorded.

According to the friend, the tone of these calls grew “more threatening” as the video gained traction, prompting them to release the entire story publicly.

In the primary clip, Ishu is seen riding on a six-lane bridge road in Patna when officers motion for him to stop. One cop can be heard saying, “Marenge tamacha khich ke (We’ll slap you hard).” When Ishu halts, the officer tells him to take off his helmet. Ishu replies, “Boliye na (Please tell me what happened),” after which the officer hurls abuses and repeats the command.

Ishu starts to remove his helmet while still seated on the bike. Suddenly, one of the officers begins tugging at his mounted camera. “Sir, ye tut jayega” (Sir, this will break), he pleads, but they keep pulling at it. The video then jumps to a shot of Ishu standing nearby, on a call, as multiple policemen shout around him.

Later in the clip, Ishu narrates the entire incident. “Ye jo abhi aap logo ne dekha, ye hai Patna six lane ka video… hum log kuch stunt wagera nahi kar rahe the, bas normal camera haath mein tha,” he says. (What you just saw is the video from Patna’s six-lane road… we weren’t doing any stunts; I only had a normal camera in my hand.) He claims the officers “milke mare hai buri tarike se” (beat him badly together) for no valid reason.

He urges viewers to share the video so no one else faces similar behaviour. “Aaj mere sath aisa hua hai, kal ko aap logo ke sath bhi ho sakta hai” (It happened to me today; tomorrow it could happen to you), he warns.

Ishu’s friend posted the footage on X, writing, “Bihar Police officers were seen abusing and hitting my friend without any reason. This is a clear misuse of power.” He also tagged the official handles of Bihar Police and Patna Police.

As the clip went viral, Ishu allegedly began receiving calls pressuring him to delete it. The friend uploaded an audio recording of one such call. The caller asks, “Kahe wo video viral kiya babu?” (Why did you make that video viral, boy?) Ishu responds, “Mere sath maar peet kiya, gali galoch kiya toh hum kya karte” (You beat and abused me, what else could I have done?)

The caller then warns, “Jaldi delete karo nahi toh hum tumko arrest kar lenge” (Delete it quickly or we will arrest you). Ishu refuses, saying the video won’t be taken down. The caller presses again: “Hum logo ka izzat nahi rakega?” (Won’t you respect our dignity?). Ishu replies, “Utna galat kiye hai, itna gandi gandi gaali diye hai” (You did so much wrong and abused me so badly).

When the caller asks what Ishu would have done if he had been jailed, Ishu calmly says he would have gone. The caller ends with, “Ye galat bai hai, jao jail jao” (This is wrong, go to jail then).

The friend captioned the audio with a warning to authorities: they had “24 hours to take action” before the matter would be escalated further.

Bihar Police later responded on X, instructing Patna Traffic Police to investigate. The local department followed up saying the complaint had been forwarded to the concerned officials and that “appropriate steps” would be taken.

Once online, the video drew strong reactions. “This is the situation of common men,” one user commented. Another wrote, “Uniforms are meant to serve people, not intimidate them. These officers should be removed without benefits.”
