Before the election dates were even announced, Prashant Kishor’s Jansuraj Party had sparked curiosity nationwide. Many believed that, win or lose, the party would at least manage to “open its account.” But as things stand, that hope seems to be fading. Naturally, meme creators have jumped on the moment, one viral post uses a hilarious “3 Idiots” reference to sum up PK’s situation.

Prashant Kishor’s election performance reminds me of what happens when literary critics write their debut novels.

After eight hours of counting, the NDA has surged ahead with leads in 203 seats, putting the alliance firmly on track for a decisive win. The BJP alone is ahead in 94 constituencies, positioning the party for a record-breaking performance. By 4 PM, Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) was leading in 81 seats, while Chirag Paswan’s LJP-RV held an edge in 19. Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM led in five seats, and the RLM was ahead in four.
As trends solidify, it’s clear the Bihar election has turned into a runaway victory for the NDA. The ruling alliance continued to widen its lead throughout the day. Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party – which had pitched itself as a fresh alternative – has barely made a mark. The RJD is battling to cross even 30 seats, and its CM face, Tejashwi Yadav, is trailing in Raghopur, where the BJP’s Santosh Kumar has a 4,500-vote advantage.
Bihar voted in two phases, on November 6 and November 11, and the results will be declared today, November 14, setting off both political drama and meme madness across the state.
