Anand Mahindra, chairperson of Mahindra and Mahindra, recently praised a high school student from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, for his impressive feat of building a single-seater drone-copter on his own. Medhansh Trivedi took three months to build the drone that can lift a person weighing up to 80kgs and stay airborne for about six minutes.

In his post, Mahindra stressed the significance of Trivedi’s achievement, stating, “It’s not so much about innovation, since the know-how of building such a machine is available on the net. It’s about the passion for engineering and the commitment to get the job done. The more young people we have like this the more innovative a nation we will become.”
