A YouTuber's final video took an unexpected turn when her husband appeared on screen to announce that she had passed away before completing it. Donna Jordan was popular for her sewing tutorials and her work at the family-owned Jordan Fabrics Quilt Shop, Dexerto reported. On March 18, 2025, her husband uploaded her last video, titled "Celebration Of Life: Donna Jordan – Drop Diamonds." The now-viral video began like any other of Jordan’s sewing tutorials, but just before the 12-minute mark, her husband, Matt, unexpectedly appeared to share that their son couldn't finish editing the footage because she had passed away before completing the filming. “Hi everyone. I’m Matt Jordan, and this video will end right here. Donna has been battling an illness for a few years now, and the last three months it got more acute and she needed more treatments," Matt said in the now-viral video. "Donna loved what she did. She couldn’t believe she could make money cutting quilts, making quilts and teaching people how to do them. It was such a blessing to her, and I hope a blessing to you all," he said. Several paid condolences to Jordan’s family, with one saying, “so abrupt and unexpected, but that's death.” Another user commented, “I can’t even imagine how hard it must have been for him to film that without crying man, I feel awful for him.” “Wow, that's so sad. RIP to her, and prayers go out to her family and friends. I know her husband is hurting right now, and it was hard to finish the video, but I bet he knows she wanted it done,” a third user wrote. Matt reassured Jordan's subscribers that the family would carry on creating content to preserve her legacy.
