Travelling is all about uncovering hidden surprises, those unique experiences that has a wow factor. One vlogger recently had a mind-blowing encounter while exploring Shanghai, China.

Ken Abroad, a travel vlogger on Instagram (@ken_abroad), shared a video that left him speechless. The clip starts with him saying, “I am getting food delivered by a robot in China.” He then flips the camera to reveal the room service telephione phone in his hotel room, where a voice announces in Chinese that the robot delivery has arrived at his room!

Ken throws open the door, and there it is, a robot, very similar to a R2-D2 droid from Star Wars, waiting patiently with his food! Thrilled, Ken gives the robot a friendly tap on its dome. The top pops open, revealing his steaming food package nestled inside.

With another tap, the robot securely seals the compartment and rolls away down the hallway. Ken can’t help but chuckle, muttering, “This is so cool!”

Netizens were quick to express their awe in the comments. One user wrote, “That’s cool! Would you say China or Japan is more futuristic?” Another added, “I wonder. Is the food cooked by robot too ?” A third user quipped, “What do you think Ken, will AI take over the world anytime soon? Haha.”
