With 163 floors, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa is the tallest free-standing structure in the world, and has captivated travel enthusiasts globally. Its iconic presence has also made it a popular filming location. Notably, Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol features action scenes shot in and around the Burj Khalifa.

The photo of Cruise sitting barefoot at the top-most point of the Burj Khalifa is one of the most popular photos of the actor.

Recently, comedian Kautuk Srivastava spotted a name scribbled on the side of the structure Cruise is sitting on. The picture shows ‘Satish Shenoy’ scribbled with two dates 20-05-2005 and 12-03-2010. In the video, the comedian highlights that these dates almost coincide with the dates of the construction of the Burj Khalifa.

“Usually when you think of great monuments you think of the people in whose name it was built. But very rarely do you think of the names of the people who built them. And Satish and his friends, with the help of a few sketch pens, changed all of that. That’s why for me, Satish owns this image because Tom wouldn’t have been able to do his impossible mission if Satish hadn’t done his truly difficult one,” Srivastava says.

“Satish>Tom Cruise,” he captioned the video.
