An Austrian tattooist who was asked by a woman to draw the Yin Yang symbol on her back decided to draw obscenities instead - 'just because'.

All those of you who have been wanting to get inked, kindly take note. A woman in St Pölten, Austria, reportedly asked a tattooist to draw the Yin Yang symbol on her back and he happily obliged – only to draw a phallic figure and an obscenity later.

According to The Local, the Lower Austria court heard the man carefully drew a template for the symbol she asked for and showed the woman to confirm. Later when he started applying the ink, he decided to draw a penis and a swear word on her back. The 21-year-old woman reportedly did not realise this until she got back home.

According to The Independent, when a St Pölten court asked the man why he had drawn the penis, his answer was “just because”. The man reportedly faced a charge of bodily harm along with burglary and violence related charges. The 21-year-old tattooist has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail and will be held in a facility for mentally ill offenders, says The Local.

This is not the first time that someone has had the misfortune of getting a penis inked onto their body. In February 2014, a man in Queensland, Australia, reportedly got a 40cm long penis inked on his back while he thought he was getting a Chinese symbol tattooed. The defendant was awarded 12 months in prison by the court.
