Passengers aboard a Thai AirAsia flight from Bangkok to Phuket experienced an unexpected twist in their journey on January 13 when a TikTok user, going by the handle @wannabnailssalon, posted a video capturing a small snake slithering through the overhead cabin.
The video, quickly gaining traction on social media, reveals the snake’s surprise appearance as it slithers across the body of the plane.
Responding promptly, the flight attendants skillfully captured the reptile using a plastic bottle and a bag before the plane’s scheduled landing.

Social media expressed a mix of shock and disbelief at the unexpected occurrence. The flight attendant’s composed response and quick action in handling the situation received praise from netizens.
One of them wrote, “”Snakes in the plane” got real.” Another added, “Can’t believe i saw the same dream yesterday and today seeing it here.” A third added, “MEH, ITS THAILAND, IT’S OK! 😑😒 CUTE LIL SNAKEY SNEK!” A fourth commented, “Hopefully his parents and brothers are not on this flight.”
Despite widespread attention, the snake’s origin remains a mystery. There is no official report on how the reptile managed to sneak into the plane.
