Russian man discards Porsche Macan in dumpster after wife rejects it as Valentine’s Day gift

Despite the sentiment that “every day is Valentine’s Day for those in love,” many go the extra mile to make their partners feel special on February 14. However, one Russian man’s grand romantic gesture did not go as planned. His wife refused his extravagant gift—a Porsche Macan––worth over a crore. What shocked the Internet more was his reaction: discarding the luxury SUV into a dumpster.

According to lifestyledefacto.com, the incident happened in Mytishchi, Moscow. The man reportedly bought the car to mend his troubled relationship with his wife, but she saw it as an insult rather than an act of love and refused to accept it. Frustrated, he disposed of the car in a dumpster, where it remained for 12 days. The report also stated that the ruby-red Porsche, still wrapped in a giant red bow, suffered damage. As of now, the man has not decided what to do with the rejected gift.

Sharing the photos, an X handle @RT_com wrote, “Russian man throws away Porsche Macan after his loved one rejected it as a present for the Valentine’s Day.” However, indianexpress.com couldn’t independently verify the incident.

Social media users had mixed reactions. One wrote, “I consider this impressive for a single man to effectively make the car fit into the trash bin. It’s possible the woman is the landfill made for humans. Also I feel bad for the man who got rejected by someone who didn’t really respect him nor loved him in return.”
