Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, keeps his audience hooked with his adventurous videos. From exploring the ancient temples in Mexico or the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, the “world’s most-subscribed” YouTuber never misses the spotlight.

Recently, MrBeast was accused of using artificial intelligence (AI) in one of his videos. The video shows several athletes competing with wild animals in Herculean tasks, including a tug-of-war between a lion and strongman Brian Shaw.

The post quickly gained traction, prompting a wave of reactions. “That has a 99% probability of being AI,” a user wrote. “It has a 100% probability of being AI. That’s not what an F1 car looks like. Plus, the two air scoops by the driver’s sides aren’t even symmetrical,” another user commented.

“Hate to break it to all of you, but you have all been consuming AI media. To think that you somehow can tell in every case and aren’t “falling for it” is pure hubris,” a third user reacted.

In 2025, MrBeast released his AI tool, which featured several extensive capabilities, including creating a modified thumbnail or generating a desired one by taking inspiration from multiple thumbnails. However, the features were initially priced at $79.99, but it was removed following the backlash.

He had announced that he would hire a “thumbnail artist” to create thumbnails for his videos.
