Recently, MrBeast was accused of using artificial intelligence (AI) in one of his videos. The video shows several athletes competing with wild animals in Herculean tasks, including a tug-of-war between a lion and strongman Brian Shaw. A Reddit thread of a thumbnail of the YouTuber’s video shows a racing car image merged with a cheetah photo. “MrBeast may have just used AI in his newest video,” the post read. That's not what an F1 car looks like. Plus, the two air scoops by the driver's sides aren't even symmetrical,” another user commented. “Hate to break it to all of you, but you have all been consuming AI media. To think that you somehow can tell in every case and aren't "falling for it" is pure hubris,” a third user reacted. In 2025, MrBeast released his AI tool, which featured several extensive capabilities, including creating a modified thumbnail or generating a desired one by taking inspiration from multiple thumbnails. However, the features were initially priced at $79.99, but it was removed following the backlash. He had announced that he would hire a “thumbnail artist” to create thumbnails for his videos.
