Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, best known for her Bollywood debut in Sanam Teri Kasam, recently tied the knot with her co-actor Ameer Gilani in a stunning, intimate wedding ceremony in Lahore. The actor shared a string of beautiful videos and photos from the celebration on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into the dreamy festivities.
In one of the viral videos shared by Hocane, Gilani recreated the popular Bollywood wedding staple, “Sajan ji Ghar Aaye” from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The groom recreated Salman Khan’s dance steps as his bride sat through his performance and cheered for him. Sharing the video, Hocane wrote, “My miracle boy… the answer to all my prayers… I must’ve done something insanely good in life that Allah sent you for me @ameergilani making all my teenage dreams come true one move at a time, Sajan ji ghar aaye.”

In another video from the wedding celebrations, Hocane’s sister, Urwa Hocane, and her brother-in-law, singer Farhan Saeed, were seen dancing to “Laal Peeli Akhiyaan” from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, originally featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Urwa also performed on “Maahi Ve“ from Kal Ho Naa Ho, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.

For the wedding, Hocane opted for a pastel mint green lehenga with intricate purple and red hues, paired with a statement neckpiece, passa, and maang teeka. Gilani donned a charcoal-coloured kurta with a Pathani salwar and doshala.
The couple initially grabbed eyeballs with their chemistry in the Pakistani show, Sabaat. Over time, they were often spotted together at events and posted pictures on social media, which further fueled speculation.
