On Monday night, Trump signed an executive order in the Oval Office aimed at ending birthright citizenship and reinterpreting the 14th Amendment. He also issued pardons for individuals involved in the January 6 Capitol riots and signed an order for the US to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Prominent figures who attended the remarkable event included Tesla CEO Elon Musk, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Miriam Adelson, Casio billionaire, Amazon Chairman Jeff Bezos, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, former UK prime minister Boris Johnson, Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.

Trump’s speech consisted of a lengthy list of policy proposals. In his second inaugural address, Trump declared the beginning of what he called a “golden age” for the United States, the Associated Press reported. “The golden age of America begins right now,” he said. “Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced.”
