Colombian woman orders air fryer from Amazon, receives lizard in package

In response, Amazon Help apologies to the woman. “Hello! We’re sorry for the inconvinience,” it wrote.

Shared on July 18, the post accumulated over 4 million views as many social media users flocked to the comment section. Reacting to it, a user commented, “Where did that come from???? From Singapore?? There are some like that and it is very common to see them on the street.” Another user wrote, “Poor little animal, how many hours has he spent in a box, without food or water. Hopefully @amazon can provide a relevant solution for both those affected and the animal.”

“This reminded me of the cat that crossed several states in the United States in an Amazon box and the delivery man never noticed,” a third user reacted.

In June, a Bengaluru couple received a snake from Amazon’s Xbox controller package. The viral videos showed a cobra stuck to the packaging tape and struggling to get loose. The wife, identified as Tanvi, recorded a video showing the consignment and shared it on social media. She said she heard a ‘hiss’ sound after receiving the order.
