A Bad Omens concert in Melbourne took a terrifying turn on Wednesday night when a portion of the ceiling came crashing down, injuring several fans. The incident happened when the band was performing their final track at the Festival Hall.
As confetti cannons erupted in the air, they appeared to knock loose ceiling tiles, which then fell onto the crowd below. A video of the shocking moment has since gone viral. Daily Mail shared the footage on Instagram, detailing the injuries sustained by concertgoers in the caption.
“During a Bad Omens concert in Melbourne, a ceiling panel fell onto the crowd reportedly leaving at least one fan knocked out. A fan in attendance explained that ‘It was actually really bad… Two girls got dragged out in front of me, one bleeding from her mouth and neck, the other from her knee… A bunch of people in the area were scrambling to get out.’ Neither the band nor Festival Hall have commented on the incident or the seriousness of fans’ injuries,” the caption read.
