Unsurprisingly, Elon Musk tops the list as the richest person in the world for the fourth time in five years, with a net worth of $420 billion—an impressive 82% increase or $189 billion driven by a surge in Tesla's stock price. Following Musk is Amazon's Jeff Bezos with $266 billion and Mark Zuckerberg making history by breaking into the top three for the first time with $242 billion, an increase of 53% ($84 billion), driven largely by Meta's successful investments in AI.
