Amzer Bluetooth Selfie Stick sure instills confidence in the user thanks to its good build quality.
I have a used quite a few selfie sticks over the past few years, most of them cheap Chinese contraptions you would not trust your smartphone with. If at all they end up working for more than a month, they struggle to do a good job holding the phone in place or sticking to the right angles. This is why I wanted to check out the Amzer Bluetooth Selfie Stick, which at least has a price point that means business.
Amzer Bluetooth Selfie Stick
Price: Rs 1,499
Most people buy selfie sticks that are affordable. That’s because clicking yourself from a distance is never a priority that justifies a premium. So if you are spending close to Rs 1,500 for a selfie stick you are either doing serious stuff or you are pretty serious about the stuff you do, whatever that might be.
The Amzer Bluetooth Selfie Stick sure instills confidence in the user thanks to its good build quality. That is a rarity for these sticks, some of which look like repurposed car antennae with handles made out of old bathroom wipers.
Amzer Bluetooth Selfie Stick has a locking/unlocking mechanism which takes some time to understand. But once you get the hang of it extending the stick or folding it back in happens really fast.
It has a locking/unlocking mechanism which takes some time to understand. But once you get the hang of it extending the stick or folding it back in happens really fast. And more importantly it stays in place.
The stick is charged using a micro-USB port and the battery is good enough for you to not have to do this all that often. The Bluetooth pairing works easily with all kinds of phones.
The Amzer stick also offers a good grip for users and I had no issue using it for long timelapse videos.
One thing I really like about this stick is the part that locks the phone in place. This is the crucial part for many people, especially those who have cracked screen thanks to unstable phone holders in most selfie sticks. This one, on the other hand, can be banked on and will stay in place, come what may. In fact, the rivets and locks are of the standard you find in tripods, thus inspiring a lot of confidence.
