Reliance Jio today announced 3 new pocket-friendly prepaid international roaming plans ahead of the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). The updated international plans offer more data and calling minutes compared to previous plans and are applicable in 44 countries. Here’s everything you need to know about the new plans from Jio.

The cheapest on the list is the Rs 1,499 plan, which comes with 150 calling minutes and 100 SMS. It has a validity of 14 days and offers 1GB of mobile data. However, Jio will charge you for all incoming calls.

If you are looking for a plan that offers free incoming, check out the Rs 3,999 plan, which offers benefits like 250 calling minutes and 100 SMS. It comes with 4GB of mobile data and has a validity of 30 days.

Lastly, the Rs 5,999 plan comes with 400 minutes with free incoming. You also get 500 SMS and 6GB of mobile data. It is valid for 30 days.

With all international roaming plans, incoming text messages are free. Jio also states that after you exhaust your data benefits, the speed will either be reduced to 64kbps or users will be charged according to Standard PayGo rates.

One thing to note here is that the price of outgoing and incoming voice calls on Jio depends from country to country, so you might want to check the changes beforehand. Also, international roaming charges will be applicable based on your location and the network used.
