Reddit down in US as users report ‘server error’ and ‘page not found’

This is the second outage of Reddit in the past week as the last glitch occurred on August 29 when the Reddit acknowledged the issue and termed it as "degraded performance for Reddit".

The users of Reddit in the United States have suffered yet another outage as the social media platform faced technical glitch and users reported that Reddit displayed ‘server error’ and ‘page not found’ messages.

Most of the users reported problems on their (52%), followed by 35% on the Reddit’s website and 13% reported server error as the issue, according to Downdetector, a website which tracks outages by accumulating user’s responses.

This is the second outage of Reddit in the past week as the last glitch occurred on August 29 when the Reddit acknowledged the issue and termed it as “degraded performance for Reddit”.

The latest data by Downdetector claimed that nearly 11,000 users had reported issues regarding Reddit on the outages tracker website on Tuesday during 7 pm.

Outages are not normal on Reddit but other than August 29 glitch, another outage took place in April when a similar issue led Reddit users face “try again later” messages which popped up on the social media platform’s site due to a back-end issue which plunged Reddit into a complete offline mode.
