Ola announced new discounted prices for the three entry-level electric scooters under the S1 X lineup on Monday, with a starting price of Rs 69,999 (ex-showroom) for the 2 kWh variant, and the price going up to Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the 4 kWh variant, which comes with an IDC certified range of 190 km. All three scooters are currently available for pre-order on the company’s official website, and deliveries will start on June 14.

While the 3 kWh and the 4 kWh variants of the Ola S1 X scooter offer a top speed of 90 km/hr, the same is limited to 85 km/h on the entry-level model. All three variants are powered by a 2.7 kW/6 kW hub motor and offer 34 liters of boot space. On top of that, all three variants also come with a 4.3-inch segmented LCD screen, LED head and tail lamps, and these are also the first set of EVs from Ola to support a physical key. Ola is also offering a battery warranty of up to 8 years or 80,000 kilometers.
In terms of design, the Ola S1 X series looks similar to other electric scooters from the company, and these new models are available in seven color options, including Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, and more. All three variants offer Eco, Normal, and Sports modes with varying mileage. While the 2 kWh and the 3 kWh variants of the S1 X come with a portable 500W charger, the 4 kWh model offers a faster 750W charger.
All three variants come with a tubular and sheet metal frame with twin telescoping suspension, featuring steel wheels. They also offer smart features like side stand alert, reverse mode, OTA update, predictive maintenance, and cruise control, and these scooters can also be controlled via the Ola Electric app.
